Manchester United are eyeing another cost-cutting measure as Sir Jim Ratcliffe continues his swingeing cuts to the club's operations.

Per , United partial- Ratcliffe is considering terminating a 10-year lease on their London offices in Kensington. The club moved their London headquarters to the location around two years ago, after their lease on another building, in Mayfair, expired. Ratcliffe has overseen mass layoffs already, and up to 200 more redundancies are expected under the INEOS billionaire's ownership.

United have had offices in London since 2010 and multiple clubs followed their lead, but Ratcliffe is now keen for the majority of staff to work in Manchester. United's 10-year lease will need to be broken if they are to move away from Kensington and negotiation will likely be required.

INEOS have made swingeing cuts to United's operations, mainly affecting the lowest-paid members of the staff, all the while reportedly forking out £171 million ($217m) per season in wages. Their cuts to youth staff reportedly left "children in tears". In January, they paid around £30m ($38m) to sign Patrick Dorgu.
